(West Palm Beach, FL)— Legendary British driver, Derek Bell, will attend the Supercar Experience Track Day as Grand Marshal on Friday, February 26, at Palm Beach International Raceway. Bell began racing in the mid-sixties and is now considered one of the world’s premier sports car drivers. His resume includes two world endurance titles, five wins at LeMans, and three Daytona victories.



“Derek Bell is one of the most remarkable endurance racers to ever pilot a car,” says John Temerian, Founder of Supercar Experience. “We are extremely honored to have one of the industry’s greats as the grand marshal of SCX Palm Beach Track Day.”



Bell will be available for VIP and media lap drives in the Mosler MT900S, a lightweight, high performance supercar boasting ‘magical’ road and track performance in a very sexy package.



Additional highlights of the SCX Track Day include VIP and media drives in the same Formula 1 car driven by World Champion Damon Hill, the Arrows A18-Ford V8. The event will be hosted by Guy Cosmo, an accomplished race car driver and former open-wheel racing champion who won the 2005 American Le Mans Series Rookie of the Year award. Cosmo is a proven front-runner in the Grand-Am Rolex Sport Car Series Daytona Prototype category and is a member of the driver lineup to compete for the Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F430 GTC team in the American Le Mans Series’ GT class for the upcoming race season.

(West Palm Beach, Fl.)—Accomplished race car driver Guy Cosmo will host all three destination Supercar Experience events in 2010. This announcement followed shortly after news broke that Cosmo would be joining the driver lineup to compete for the Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F430 GTC team in the American Le Mans Series’ GT class for the upcoming race season.

Cosmo, a former open-wheel racing champion, won the 2005 American Le Mans Series Rookie of the Year award and is a proven front-runner in the Grand-Am Rolex Sport Car Series Daytona Prototype category.  Cosmo’s career began at the early age of 11, where he secured race wins and championships from kart racing, Formula Ford, Formula 2000, Star Mazda and Toyota Atlantic to his professional endeavors in the Grand-Am and American Le Mans Series.  In addition to being an accomplished driver, Cosmo is also a highly sought-after driving instructor.

Temerian, who produced the first Supercar event of its kind, Palm Beach Supercar Weekend 2005, assures that the 2010 experience will be ‘larger than life’, boasting state-of-the-art technology, innovative design, premier luxury, and of course the world’s largest, most impressive collection of privately owned supercars, securing SCX as the premier lifestyle event like no other.”
